Expanded Duties Dental Assisting Program:

Overview:

This is a 4-week training course with 32 hours of classroom instruction with hands-on training on dentoforms.

Pre-requisites:

Basic Dental Assisting plus 4 week externship, or plus 3 months experience as a dental assistant and a recommendation from your dentist. Or 6 months experience as a dental assistant and a recommendation from your dentist. Increase your skills by learning expanded duties to help your practice grow and produce more. This allows the dentist to see more patients and makes you a more valuable employee with greater compensation.

Certificates:

-Expanded Duties Dental Assisting certificate approved by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry for 32 hours CE credit.
